A whimsical doc about construction of  Tishmann Building at 666 Fifth Avenue, as seen from the worker's point of view. The dazzling images of 666 Fifth Ave being built from the ground up are set to a jazzy score of beat-style poems and songs and blended with the voices of actors playing construction workers, in this unique and wonderfully funny document.

THE BIG SNIT by Richard Condie, 1986,
winner of 16 international awards. Snitt features a couple whose domestic habits are as warped as their facial features. And, yet, they are recognizably ordinary, squabbling throughout a game of Scrabble and then making up. They are caught up in their own little world, oblivious to the nuclear holocaust that has rained down on the world outside.
BALLET MECANIQUE by Fernand Leger, 1924
This film, the first declared "sans scenario" in its text introduction, is a collage. The swinging chrome balls, the gears of machines, the dancing bottles, the rotating disks juxtaposed with femine lips and eyes are all awaiting the female form trudging endlessly up and down the stairs with her burden. The symbols seem obvious to us in an age of technology and sexual advertisement/liberation.
